We are pleased to have you as our new customer and hope that you will enjoy being a resident in our town. Here is some information that may be beneficial to you concerning the Utilities Office here in the City of Malakoff.
To become a new resident, you MUST APPLY IN PERSON to the located address at 109 S. Melton Dr., Malakoff, Texas 75148 (Administration Office).
We bill and collect utility payments for the City of Malakoff. The utility bills include charges for water, sewer, sanitation, and fire
Meters are read on or around the 15th of each month (not including Saturday and Sunday). The bills are mailed by the 26th of each month and are due on the 1st. After the 10th of the month, bills are considered “Past Due” and a late fee of 10% will be added to the gross amount due (which is 10% of the bill). All accounts not paid by 8:00am on the 21st day of each month will automatically be disconnected. Department Purpose: To perform a variety of construction and maintenance activities in support of water/wastewater or utility functions , various installation, repair and maintenance activities, work order cut-off, meter reading and maintenance, and conducts property inspections.
